Small Enough to Care! Big Enough to be There!!

Brett Muller started in business at the age of 21 with subcontract jobs and small maintenance being the order of the day. In 1994 Brett entered into a partnership and took over the operations and financial control of Airvolts Electrical. The partnership lasted until 2003 when Brett and his business partner decided to try different things. Brett still maintains contact with his ex partner and they still co-operate on a number of projects.

 

In 2003 Brett & Lisa started Spectrum Electrical & Data Pty Ltd and employed 6 staff to accommodate the workload in the Domestic and Commercial electrical areas. This quickly grew to approx.14 staff over the next 3 years with a number of major projects completed.  Due to the recent downturn in the economy, Brett & Lisa decided to scale it back just a bit and concentrate on providing a QUALITY service which offered value for money.

 

Danny (Brett's brother) had been employed throughout this time and was promoted to Operations Manager to allow Brett to concentrate on making sure the clients were satisfied and informed. This also allowed the expansion into specialised fields of Home Automation, Data and TV Systems.

 

Spectrum also decided to undertake one of the biggest projects ever with the electrical, security, air conditioning, mechanical ventilation and intercom systems for the Vision Project at Golden Beach, worth an approx. $1.3 million. With the recent successful completion of this project, Spectrum is looking at continuing to offer value for money and a service that is second to none for 2010 and beyond.
