Digital Homeware connects select audio visual devices, lighting and electrical control systems using Ethernet, Wireless LAN, RS232. This enables complete integration of all electrical devices and gives the end user a central point of control.

Digital Homeware incorporates recording, playback and management of digital media files - TV, DVD, music and pictures - so they can be played back to any audiovisual devices around the home simultaneously.

Digital Homeware will connect most industry standard lighting control systems including Clipsal C-Bus, Dynalite and HPM iCONTROL. The home owner can control all of the devices connected to their lighting control system including:

• Switches
• Dimmers
• Scenes
• Movement Sensors
• Light Level Sensors

The devices on the home network can be controlled on an easy to use interface with either a customised floor plan view or by device type.

Let Digital Homeware manage your digital music based on Album, Artist, Genre or Track. Use the graphical keyboard on your touch screen to search for a particular digital file and play it direct to any music capable media zone.

Add an infinite number of music zones onto the Digital Homeware network by using a Digital Homeware Exstreamer - a network MP3 player. This can be used in conjunction with a multi-room audio system or via any network point in the home.

Play, pause, fast forward or rewind just like a CD and shuffle your current playlist to create random effects to keep your party guests dancing. Digital Homeware monitors the network for digital media files. As you add or maintain music, Digital Homeware automatically updates the media library.

Digital Homeware will manage all your recorded TV and / or home video files including backed up movies in one accessible digital video library.

This means you can search your library based on recorded date, channel or user defined category. When you find what you are looking for you can then play that video into any video capable media zone on your Digital Homeware network.

Add additional video zones onto the Digital Homeware network so your video library can be accessed from anywhere in the home. Play, pause fast forward or rewind just like a DVD. The Digital Homeware Server will monitor any number of network drives where your video content can be stored. Drives can be configured to automatically delete the oldest content as disk space becomes low.

RECORDED TV

TV guides for up to 7 days are automatically downloaded to the Digital Homeware Recorder for the easy recording of TV programs. Tools included in this component include:

• TV Search – Search the TV guide database by program title, channel, date, time and select or unselect shows to record.
• Scheduled – List TV programs which are scheduled to record, recorded, or missed by date. Add ad-hoc schedules, which may not yet be in the TV guide.
• Auto Record – Digital Homeware can automatically record specific TV programs based on keywords defined in this area. Once a program is recorded it will be located in a specific TV category for later searching and playback. It also contains a learn mode where Auto Records are created based on selections in the TV Guide.
• TV Guide – Traditional broadsheet view where the user can see all channels and times at once. Programs can also be selected and unselected here for manual recording.
